Weights Set

What is the difference between a game and strength training several sets / weight?
What is the main difference between saying one to three sets where to weight and is it 3 times as much effect? some effect of endurance? "Continuity" effect? Is nothing better to do many exercises with a game? I am particularly interested in acquiring the mass, and I assume that both variants are made with an intensity optimal. (I am thinking especially of three similar sets with the same number of repetitions)
Muscles can be built in 3 different means. 1. Strength: This is usually done with less reps and less games but at a much higher weight. The objective is to increase the amount you can raise, so you can do, say .. 3 sets of 6 representatives from each of 80% of the maximum amount you can lift. My numbers are just an example, not an exact routine. 2. Tone / Endurance: Basically, being able to do the same thing over and having your muscles look more like it does when you fold, but at rest. Also called "definition". This usually involves a lot more representatives, but at a slightly lower amount weight. 3. Mass: bigger muscles. usually involves a combination of / something between the other two. Keep in mind that each of these objectives will still working on 2 others, and I heard that it is viable to do more than one in the same workout (fixed at different weight / number of reps) .. if I'm not an expert. If you do not have much time or are prone to missing days, you can actually just hang a weight to a single set of 12 at a weight where the last agent or two is very difficult.
