I agree with David's response … I would also like to add that I read the comments during the second video … Kicking with the foot instead of your tibia works great when you wear shoes. It is when you're barefoot and head kicked with the foot you can run into problems and injury, making kicking with the shins more ideal. Using a high roundhouse kick in a defense self-street situation is not really the most ideal technique because it can leave you unbalanced, or you might slip on any surface, you have to defend yourself. This kick is best left to the liver size or height of the thigh. I have personally used this kick in a real situation, and managed to hit my target. Unfortunately, I fell to my foot support could not shoot through the concrete curb. Fortunately, the guy was cold or I could be in big trouble … stabbed, that's what he was trying to do.
