Thai Training
Any ideas to keep my Muay Thai training for a temporary stay in a wheelchair?

I have two ankle sprains, a serious enough, and were informed by doctors that I should stay away my feet for at least several weeks. Its making me a little nuts not be able to train, and I know I'm out of shape just sitting. I can not go to the gym, or leave my house at all, but I have a universal and free weights here. Does anyone have any ideas to keep my skills sharp and up cardio?

here's an idea .. let your body rest and recooperate .. do not do anything stupid like shadow boxing in your wheelchair is just ridiculous .. and teach you bad habits .. If you want workotu but just do upper body lifts his arms and shoulders .. most of your power comes from legs and torso anyway shulders

While the title might seem like something more likely to be found on one of Letterman’s Top 10 Lists (“Future Careers of Movie Has-Beens” or “Reasons to Wear Pajamas in Public”), David Carradine’s Tai Chi Workout for Beginners is nothing if not completely serious. Carradine narrates and helps a certified tai chi instructor lead three students through the Chen style, considered by some to be t…

Memoirs of a Geisha [Blu-ray]

Memoirs of a Geisha [Blu-ray]

$12.72

Chicago director Rob Marshall’s pretty but empty (or pretty empty) film has all the elements of an OscarĀ® contender: solid adaptation (from Arthur Golden’s bestseller), beautiful locale, good acting, lush cinematography. But there’s something missing at the heart, which leaves the viewer sucked in, then left completely detached from what’s going on. It’s hard to find fault with the fascinating s…

Look Who’s Talking Too

If nothing else, the powers that be behind this terrible sequel to the 1989 hit Look Who’s Talking will be divinely punished for abusing John Lennon’s “Jealous Guy” on the soundtrack. Until then, it’s better to push memories of this movie to the back of one’s memory. John Travolta and Kirstie Alley reprise their roles from the earlier film, but this time their married relationship is in trouble fo…
