Lettuce Cold is a culture. It can be planted once the ground thaws and the danger of soil freezing happening again. Even with peas, radishes, spinach, carrots, cabbage, broccoli and other crops cold. Cold crops can withstand a light frost but not a hard frost. Peppers and tomatoes should be kept inside until the danger of last frost is past. Do not over water until spring, or they develop mold the stem base and die. Good ventilation helps transform the control.
