Is there anyway to put more resistance on a resistance band?

Ok, so today I went to buy a tape resistance because I was sick of weight, I trained for 6 months with weight and I want to change my way of exercise. Eh although the group that I bought is too small for me, so I wanted to exchange it with another and the hole @ ss does not want. So there anyway to add strength to the tape? I'm right next to the handle and its pretty weak … mechanical ideas? : P

it usually takes more of a resistance band anyway ..
