Raise Machine
How to raise the bobbin into the sewing machine? I have a Singer Merritt 4552?
I threaded the needle and put the coil threaded into the bobbin case and hooked the wire, but I can not figure out how to get the thread up. He told me to just stick the needle through and it will pull the wire in place, but the thread is just sitting there and I did not even see how it is still possible to find it. Please help!

Two things you should know about: 1) you must dial in the direction which could lead to dog food for the transport of fabric under the presser foot away from you. Consult the manual of the direction in which it is or put a piece of paper under the presser foot, set up for a long point, and try it with a machine unthreaded. 2) needles have a front and rear. If you put the needle upside, you get General skipping points because the needle is not picking up the bobbin thread. Check the manual to see if you have the needle in the right side (Or just try the other way!) If you can not get the bobbin thread in a few tests.
