Anyone know if it is legal to practice with your sword in your garden, PA?

I find that with the possibility of guns being banned housing in the near future, I want a way to protect my family. Even if I'm already pretty well informed on how to attack with a sword, I know I need practice, so I must be a sustainable practitioner and protection. I need to know whether the practice in broad daylight in your backyard is legal in PA especially around the Philadelphia area.
