Performance Running

what are good foods to boost running performance?
I'm a decent runner, but my coach always tells me I eat too bad (although he has never seen me eat) because I have a lot of injuries. What are good foods to help me with this problem. I obviously know the fruits and vegetables, but there individuals? Also, should I stay away from the power bars and Gatorade? And one last thing: when we have morning practice, I rarely eat before. I heard it's not bad to run on an empty stomach, is this true? thanks
Fatty fish because omega-3 found in fish help lubricate the joints! Other fats which are also what can be found in olive oil, nuts and seeds, avocado, olives … Food like that. And yes, please do stay away from power bars, Gatorade and other (anything processed and full of sugar), because sugar is toxic to your body and does nothing good for her. If you want to eat before going your practice in the morning, try eating at least 90 minutes before going that way your body some time to digest before you start running. If you do not have that much time, just eat a piece of fruit and / or a hard boiled egg and then eat something with a little more substance when practice is over.
