Pedometer Body

The new G5 iPod nano with video camera, voice recorder and a pedometer

The new fifth-generation iPod nano is an electronic wonderful! It packs so much power is such an incredibly small and sleek body that is unbelievable.

All these years, I hesitated the purchase of an iPod for the simple reason that it can take so much of my time as my interests in writing and others may suffer lack of time. But when I read that the new iPod nano can record and play video clips in addition to recording voice and music, I have some so started looking more curiosity. I started reading about its features and functions. When I learned he had clock world who could show me the time in 4 cities around the globe in the same time, stopwatch, alarm, memo, calendar notes, contacts and games, he sat up my ears. But the last characteristic that has broken my strength is that he worked as a pedometer as well! Done! I fell for her and she bought quickly.

But it was my first iPod and Apple's first device in this regard. I had no idea how it works. I read the instruction booklet that has been cramped for those well acquainted with devices Apple and not for a first timer like me. When I turned on the camera, I could not go up and down the menu that I tried futile to press the arrow that I used the TV remote. I was frustrated beyond words. After an hour or two, I discovered the secret scroll up and down the menu just by accident. You should brush your fingers in a circular motion around the wheel! Right to go down and left to go back on the menu! Eureka! I felt elated. Button at the top of the iPod that I assumed was on the ON-OFF has no such thing. There was a slide switch to reset the iPod in the unlikely event it has stopped working and crashing. Soon I became an expert. Press menu to return to the screen at once, and draw circle with the thumb on the dial to select the menu and press the Center button to move to the next screen.

I downloaded and installed iTunes on my computer. The program has released music on my hard drive and converts it to iPod. I connected the iPod and it soon finished syncing with iTunes. Although iTunes does not pick up 2. Mov video clips to my office and put them on the screen they have not iTunes sync iPod and showed up a msg that it was not a format that could be played on iPod nano. Similarly, I find that movies I took with my camera Panasonic could not be synced to iPod. You need to convert movies to MP4 format to load on the iPod. Later, I searched the net and download the software to convert video for iPod. You can find it at www (.) E-ZSoft (.) Com. However the movies I shot with the iPod can be downloaded on my computer and they play well. The iPod Camera is very good at taking videos, although the position of the lens is something we must get used to.

I did not expect the iPod to play music without having to plug in headphones, and I was pleasantly surprised when he did. The sound quality is good, but the volume is barely audible through my shirt pocket. But you can back your iPod to your ears and enjoy the music without the headphones properly. The functionality is welcome to listen to the voice notes. With headphones, the sound quality is excellent.

I was happy to see that the audio output jack is a full size (3.5 mm) and not a mini. I could plug my music system and play the iPod music. It seemed interesting! However, I have not had success playing the video clip through the AV cable that I bought separately. He has not appeared on my Panasonic home theater projector. I returned to the store who tried it and said that although the box says black iPod nano, it does not seem to work the new version. I give it as and when he received the new AV cable compatible with the new nano. But it's probably a spot on the Apple Inc. Why not to be accomplices common to all? It adds to the inventory made complicit increasingly obsolete, and adds to costs.

I passed on the iPod pedometer I put in my pants pocket and walked right into my garden and started counting the steps. I stopped after a few laps when I was counted 485 stairs and looked at the iPod. He had recorded 487 steps! The pedometer really works. I then held my hand in trying to keep it as stable as possible as I walked by looking at the screen. The iPod faithfully recorded my every step. I wonder how Apple did the trick I do not know that a pedometer can.

I plugged in my iPod speaker dock inMotion IM5 Altech and played wonderful music. But the radio does not work on the wharf. I put in the headphones and the radio worked. He probably uses the son of the earphones as a kind of an antenna. I then tried to plug the iPod into the chamber by the auxiliary. input with a cord that could serve as an antenna, but the radio still does not.

I then plugged my iTrip FM transmitter on the iPod and set the frequency to 100 MH. This worked on my radio was on the same frequency. I turned on the FM radio in my car and the iPod played Louis Armstrong's "When the Saints Go Marching By "as a tribute to Apple Inc. for the iPod perfectly.

Overall I am happy that I bought the iPod nano. It will be my companion in my pocket wherever I go. I shed my fear and dislike what I had for Apple. Bravo to Apple Inc. to bring a fantastic practical and useful product for consumers beyond music lover!
