Dog walking on the tops of her feet?
I have a pomeranian who was treated today. When it rises, and also when he walks, he walks on top of one of his feet. It works effectively with its pads hidden under his foot and walk on all fours party. He has history of back problems and patella rotating on its hind legs, but I've never seen this before. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Be assured that Milo will go to the vet within 24 hours. He was walking funny before grooming, but was dealing with a collapsed trachea. Poor Milo had to go last summer without being careful because of health problems and was hot at all times, and his fur was 3 "long and very thick. It was not until he was treated I could see her approach, and now the vet can see it too. With its existing back problems, this may be how we can finally diagnosis and help them and their problems. Dances with frame is correct. It is a sign of a neurological problem which corresponds very well with his history of back problems. Please take him the vet as soon as possible. It does not seem bad, but it can worsen and even cause paralysis. Until you can get to the vet, keep it as limited as possible, preferably in a cage / carrier. Please do not ignore this and assume that is bound to have his nails cut as some others have mentioned. This is not related to her nails. Get her to your veterinarian as soon as possible.
