Anyone have a review of the Epic E950 elliptical?
I was looking at the Horizon EX-44 elliptical (and still # 1 my list), but I found the brand in line with Epic a model that offers adjustable stride length (18-20 ") in length and inclination Adjustable (10-30%), but I could not find any reviews of the machine. Other research has found they are manufactured by Icon Health & Fitness (http://www.iconfitness.com/), whose brands include Nordictrack, Weider, Pro-Form, Healthrider, Reebok, Golds Gym and others. In fact it seems is branded under the Reebok Reebok RL 900 too elliptical. I found the machine to this link http://www.epicfit.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product2_10651_10101_16151_-1_12004 Has anyone bought or used the machine and if so, have you noticed that you can offer? I like the concept of adjustable tilt and 18-20 stride length, but I do not like to jump into a pool without checking the water first.
In general, one Products manufactured by Icon Fitness will be of lower quality, even the higher priced units. Based on what I see here in our repair /, units tend to last less than a year before requiring major corrective. Reebok units used to be great, but once they Icon care quality has dropped dramatically. The adjustable stride on the Epic is uncertain at best .. it is designed to try to replicate what do with their ellipticals SPORTSART adjustable, but with quality parts and manufacturing.
