I was going to take a mini daschund and chihuahua, but now I think it might be too small?

ok I'll take a mini daschund and Chihuahua mix, but the people at the shelter said it was only gonna grow to 4 pounds. I fear that this might have difficulty to get up my stairs and even jump on the couch or my bed. Also the adoption fee is only $ 25 you do this, I have something wrong with the dog?

£ 4? It's hard to believe if she has in her dachshund. We've got several dogs of refuge before the people and there are wrong on adult weight / size dog about 50% of the time, in my experience. If you have any doubts, though, perhaps you should look for a different dog.
