What are good workouts for a punching bag?

I just got a punching bad news. I'm hoping of view for kickboxing lessons very soon, but until then I want to know some basic movements that are easy, and I can practice on my new bag. Maybe if anyone has any videos they could share or Web sites, it would be helpful too =] Thanks =]
