This article briefly discusses some possible causes and treatments, including a highly effective but little known, that have not taken the pill (other than vitamin pills) or having steroid injections or surgery.

If you have a tingling sensation in your fingers, a feeling of weakness or pain in your grip, or shooting pains that come in the fingers or forearms, then you probably carpal tunnel syndrome or tendonitis of the wrist (it's worth checking with your doctor if, before doing anything else, it's not arthritis).

Formerly, carpenters and typists who mostly suffered from this condition most painful, which comes on gradually over a period of several weeks or months. Now, with so many people using computers and keyboards, the problem became much more widespread.

Some authorities believe carpal Tunnel syndrome is caused simply by deficiency of vitamin B6. The remedy, they say, is to take high doses of vitamin B6. If you choose this course, take medical opinion as to the amount you should take it exactly as it is toxic if taken in excessive doses. Vitamin B6 road not bring relief Now by all means. It is often as much as 6 weeks before you expect to feel improvement. After that you must continue, but with a smaller assay.

If you prefer a herbal remedy, so perhaps the best herb to take is turmeric, a spice common kitchen, which is good for reducing inflammation. The typical dose is one teaspoon spice powder per day mixed with your main dish, or 300 mg capsule containing 95 percent curcumin (the active ingredient) with one to three times per day.

Is there something you can do to make more immediate relief? Yes, there. The first thing is to assess what is causing the onset of the complaint. If it is to type on keyboard, then consider the height of the keyboard to your own body position. It is important not to have the desk too high. If it is, then lower the office, if possible, or increase your seat. Most offices office these days come at the right height for a person of average height.

Take a break due to type (or whatever activity is causing the problem) every 30 to 60 minutes until Are your wrists feel relaxed enough to resume. Do stretching exercises regularly throughout your workday. Rest your forearms on the desktop and use your other hand to gently pull your fingers back for 3-5 seconds at a time.

Then, raise your arms above your head and rotate and stretch your hands and wrists. Do this for up to 2 minutes four times a day. You'll feel much better and relaxed and will help relieve feelings of stress and tension in your neck and shoulders as well.

Another beneficial exercise from time to time is simply smooth tighten your fists, then open your fingers and bend them back towards the forearm to the extent they go. Hold for few seconds and try again. It's very good for the dispersion of all the sensations of tingling.

If you want to use a bandage or a splint so be careful. If a dressing applied too tight it may obstruct traffic. Braces with metal insert and Velcro fasteners are preferable to plastic splints, which are often too hard and can be hot and sticky. Make sure it fits correctly so that your thumb and fingers are free.

Finally, try the following year several times a day to get lasting relief from carpal tunnel syndrome and tendonitis of the wrist. With your left thumb, follow the outside your right arm into the hollow center of your wrist, to its fold. Place your middle finger directly behind him on the inside of your wrist. Gently press on both fingers and thumb for one minute before changing hands.

At the same time, relax and breathe deeply through your nose. Strange as it may seem, you should find that this simple exercise helps to relieve all the pain in the wrist, including carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis of the wrist and rheumatism, and strengthens your wrist.
