Substitute two miles of swimming?

Well im doing CrossFit, but I do not have access to a pool. Are there any exercises i could do which may replace or simply swimmimg suggestions in general. Thnx

Swimming is an exercise in fantasy, since it is virtually non-impact (for example, your joints are not absorbing any grinding or impact the ground or other hard object) and it works the whole body – muscles, arms, neck, at base, legs. The two substitutes each best I can think of are brisk walking or using the elliptical. Both are extremely low impact (running would most like to swim – or at least the energy it takes to perform – but the impact on the joints is unlike swimming) and work throughout the body. If I were you, I would opt for the elliptical, or walking on an incline tredmill% 7 to 3.5 mph. You Not sure what CrossFit is, but these two substitutes must simulate the benefits of swimming very well.
