The recruitment of cabin crew – a special job for special people

In no case are servers cabin crew or glorified waitresses, there is much more intrinsic value attached to this work. The first person the customer encounters when they board the aircraft cabin crew and this is their first point of contact and where the first impressions of the airline as a whole are made. So they ambassadors of the company!
They are specifically trained to deal with safety and security All passengers and deal with emergencies, which is their key performance area. They need to be tactful and gentle with passengers fear and firm against unruly passengers. They also help with boarding and disembarkation.
Before any flight takes place staff cabin are informed of all flight conditions. They inspect the aircraft to ensure it was properly cleaned and that all stocks they need on board including cabin equipment and medical supplies.
In matters of personnel on the ground, they provide also the link, checking the numbers of passenger seats, make sure passengers are buckled-in-hand and secure luggage. All Emergency procedures are demonstrated in flight by the crew cabin, and they are also responsible for control in case of emergency arise. In many cases, they help passengers competition all necessary documents and travel reports of stolen file.
This work is not a job, 9-5, hours are staggered, they work nights, weekends and holidays too. Cheap does not stop for Christmas. There no typical routine for a week and a rotation system is to control who works and does, and things can change quickly, the crew cabin must be very flexible.
They work in teams, usually in pairs while the flight, and can work, long, short or two long-haul flights. Everything depends on what flights are running and who is or is not available.
It's physical work demanding that changes are long and many of them are passing and standing and walking in the aisles of the plane. But the beauty of it is you get to see new places and meet different people every time. The salaries are good but not fantastic, but there are many benefits that go to work; great travel deals to be one of those. So if you want to work and travel and still be able to come home, it could be the perfect job for you.
