Should I buy a Bowflex Ultimate 2 Used?

So I have a gym at home, but already I'm just too strong for her, I Velcro'd my dumbbells to add weight haha. So now I'm thinking of buying the Bowflex Ultimate 2, its new around $ 2500, but I found a guy near me selling for $ 1200. The guy bought all the upgrades for it too which would make his family to $ 2,800 if it was new, the only drawback is that I am buying it used I would not have the lifetime warranty on the "power bars". Has anyone a used Bowflex and know how much it would cost for breach of stem? Do you think its worth it to buy new, I not to worry or should I take my chance on occasion?
