How do I dye brown hair highlighted black middle?

my hair is medium brown with blonde streaks and I am preparing to die black. Is it suggested that I go dark brown to black, or just start with black. also wondering if there are brands of hair dye suggested?

if you want to go black, you must add back to the NRP parts bleached or they wont keep the dark. So dye your hair red, then dye your hair black. Dont do it yourself well.
